A videographer based in New Jersey

Hi! I’m Dhruv Patel, I am a videographer based in New Jersey. I attended Middlesex College where I completed an Associate of Applied Science in Professional Commercial Photography. 

I got started with making short homemade videos exploring various editing, software, and creative shooting techniques. Even though those early videos are poorly edited and will never see the light of day, it’s the joy of creating something and getting better every time as the reason why I love videography. There is always room for improvement with each project. Whether it’s a new editing tool or creative decision made during the shoot, or the different types of lenses used, there is opportunity for growth throughout the filmmaking process. 

Currently I am a part of an organization called MindSet Gaming where I act as their Lead Videographer and Content Creator. I produce and edit their merch shoots and company events. Outside of the organization, I work as a freelancer and make my own content that can be viewed on Instagram @dhruv.patlul
